Sirintip: MYCELIUM
Sirintip brings MYCELIUM to UC Merced Arts for a mesmerizing concert experience that bridges music, science, and ecological imagination. A Thai-Swedish research artist, singer, producer, and composer based in New York City, Sirintip transforms scientific research and collaborations with scientists into cinematic soundscapes that blend jazz, art-pop, electronics, and environmental imagination. Inspired by fungi, plankton, and the unseen systems that sustain life, MYCELIUM invites audiences to feel their way into the hidden networks that connect humanity and the natural world.
Born from a five-year artistic and research process, MYCELIUM incorporates data sonification, lyrical storytelling, natural sound, and immersive visuals to illuminate the overlooked forces that shape our ecosystems and communities. A boundary-crossing artist who has toured with Snarky Puppy and brought her work to cultural spaces from SFJAZZ to the Nobel Prize Museum, Sirintip creates performances for audiences drawn to curiosity, connection, and new ways of listening. Presented as part of a weeklong residency at UC Merced during Earth Week, this performance opens a space for wonder, connection, and deeper attention to the living world around us.

- Free for UC Merced students. Limit one ticket per student; verification required.
"Student" includes any college student with valid student ID. "Child" includes individuals under 18.
